Tomorrow, the WORLD!
Thought it'd be worth digging poor old Purple out of retirement for this!
If you haven't heard, Double Fine Productions (notable crew include the brains behind Maniac Mansion, Monkey Island, Grim Fandango, Psychonauts, etc. and of course, Day of the Tentacle) have started a Kickstarter to get funding for a new game without publishers calling the shots - as they'd never get to make another point'n'click adventure in the current way of the gaming world..
The plan was to raise $400,000 in a month - with all funders getting a copy of the game and various perks depending on pledge. It hasn't even been 24 hours of those 34 days, and they've hit over $1,000,000 o.o;
Think that makes the message pretty clear, us fans are still here!
So here's Purple Tentacle, of Day of the Tentacle, having a little cheer - when I took the photo it was only at 700k so cutpasted the current value in as it's far more fitting an amount for celebration

The costume was made by myself and Al, back in 2005, the insides have not suffered the years well but it's vaguely holding together, there's no one in it here obviously but I think it came out decently XD
