Best. Con. Ever.

I mean, it's hard to weigh them all up, especially when early cons are rose-tinted by the zomg-new-thingness and now the overwhelmingly most important factor for my enjoyment of a con is the people there.. So it's not like I'm thinking all previous cons have sucked in comparison, just.. damn this one was fantastic.

So many pretty costumes, I barely even caught a quarter of them on camera.. So many familiar faces, and a few new ones who stopped me to reveal their true identity! ..I'm only mildly worried that this means people are somehow working out who I am..

The guests of honour were all fantastic, from the hypergenki Momoi Haruko/Halko, who even after I spotted her powernapping before the masquerade managed to bounce all over the stage and really psyche up the entire crowd something crazy when the time came.. to Matthew Mercer and JoEllen Elam who pretty much rocked every panel they were part of, and were just pretty damned awesome to hang around with half the con.

At any rate, the latest burst of photos are some choice selections from the weekend, I may add a few more later but I've just spent the last week trawling through 10,000 of the things for the gallery, for the press pack, for people after hq copies, and agh, I'm sick of staring at ACDSee
